Confessions of a blogger

Blogging may not be a big thing for you as much is it is for me. Back in the days before I was a blogger, I thought people who had their own blogs were vain. I didn't like the idea of being an "open book" for the whole world to see my joys, my sorrows, my accomplishments, or my failures. Blogging has become a joy for me because it has led me on a path of self discovery, on a path of being real. It has made me feel less of an island of its own. I blog for my family and friends back home to know what I am up to. The time difference from here and home has been alittle hard to keep in touch. I don't have enough time to tell everyone everything that I am experiencing here so having a blog makes perfect sense. I'm not so concerned about who reads or if anyone reads. Its more for me.
