Asking For Directions In Saipan

After helping Beautify CNMI with the clean up at the lighthouse Missy, Grant, and me headed out to Gold's Gym in Garapan to buy some supplements for the Body For Life challenge that we are starting. Garapan is pretty small so we "thought" it would be easy to locate Gold's Gym. Definitely not the case. We went up and down all the small side streets and could not figure out where it was. So we gave up and started asking for directions from the locals. Every local we spoke to was very friendly and was kind enough to "point" us in the right direction. Each would use their hand or arm and literally point us in the direction. But after they would point us in the right direction they would curve their hand to the right, then to the left, then straight, then to the right, then to right again . . . After we drove off we'd look at eachother and say "did you get that"?! lol It became confusing with each of them because we could not remember did he curve his hand to the right or to the left. We must of asked atleast three people. (sigh) Needless to say we finally found Gold's Gym after about 30-45 mins.

Right, I have too much time on my hands, but you're doing the search within 15 minutes of my making a comment.

You're right, I'm the loser here.

Hey, if you're interested, I'm going to go sit in the lobby of the Grand Hotel for a couple of hours to utilize the free wireless.

I've got some pictures I want to post and I want to update the BC website.

Want to keep me company?
