Okay this post is going to be random. Today wasn't my typical Friday. The dental clinic was closed today because we had CPR renewal class. The dental staff spent the whole morning reviewing new updates from the American Red Cross. The American Red Cross has changed the number of compressions to breathing from 15:2 to 30:2. Why? They felt that 15 compressions was more like a "warm up" and that doing more compressions would get the blood flowing more. Also we learned that you don't have to check for a pulse when you find an adult unconscious anymore. You still check for breathing but no pulse. I guess they found that some people misdiagnose if a victim has a pulse or not so they don't end up doing CPR when its needed. They figured it can't hurt to just do CPR. We practiced CPR on the adult and infant models. After class we had pizza for lunch and just hung out.
If you haven't figured out yet, Filipinos like to give nicknames to each other. Usually funny nicknames. My Tagalog speaking coworkers call me all sorts of stuff at work. I use to be sensitive but I have lightened up since then. They call me "veggie filipina" (because i can't speak Tagalog fluently) , "coconut" (brown on the outside white on the inside), "ganda" short for maganda, and the new one now is "cana" short for americana. So just call me "cana"=)
Anywho you'll be happy to know that I finally got my new camara! Its waterproof up to 10 ft, shock proof up to 5 ft . . . pretty much Bev proof=) I decided to test the camara and take it out on a tank swim this afternoon. I met up with Ken and Crystal at Killi beach. Whenever we do tank swim we would swim out to the first tank and then all the way to the second tank and back. i think its about a mile swim. At the second tank we usually would sit and watch the sunset. Last time I swam out with Grant and Missy, we sat on the 2nd tank and sang pirate songs while watching sunset! Only in Saipan. Have a great weekend=)

Thanks for coming to my game today! Sorry I'm not better at soccer, though.
