5:30 AM Crew
Early morning conversation between EJ and me at Marpi pool.
Ej: You ready?
Me: (sigh)
EJ: Let’s go girl
Me: How many meters did Coach Mike say?
EJ: 1900 meters
EJ: 400 meters warm up, 900 meters alternate easy, moderate, and hard swim, 300 meters . . . blah blah blah
Me: I may die in the middle of this.
EJ: (laughs)
Swimming is s-l-o-w-l-y starting to grow on me. It’s definitely my weakest link while training for the upcoming triathlon. Towards the end I always feel like I can’t make it. I guess that’s the greatest challenge though . . . overcoming my doubts about myself. So I’ll tri harder and I’ll keep going. Note to self: Don’t ever give up.

EJ doesn't laugh. She giggles.
The swim is the shortest portion. Think of it as a warm up for the run and bike. You can do it! Maybe I'll come out to the pool one morning so you can see how poorly I swim and know I finished and olympic and feel alot more confident about your own ability!
Hang in there, Bev! You can do it. I'm cheering you and EJ on!!!
hey, hehehehe, i am going running in the morning. we meet at airport field at 5:30a.m. sharp. Will you come join me?
actually it was more like 6am, but we'll be running a lot more now
Swimming is my weakest part too. I'm always scared to swim at ocean. I worry about drowning... But, there are lifeguards for the race. That'S why I can swim for triathlon.
I am the slowest swimmer.
Let's keep it up! "Escape from Managaha" is on Saturday, September 22nd. Let's try it!!!(^_^)
